I decided to work with a couple of Memory Box dies and a Joy label die. When I first cut the big hearts die, I looked at it and wondered how best to use it. With all the bits attached to it, I actually thought it was a difficult die to use. But, as always, messing around with it, I found a way that pleased me.
Firstly, using all the dies, I cut them out of pink card. I then placed the hearts die onto the front of the card, slightly above center and cut it out.
Using Hero Arts Old French Writing stamp and Versamark Sepia ink pad, stamping off before placing onto the card, I created a very light script background. I wrapped ribbon around the front, with the label in place and secured it before placing a piece of very pretty patterned card behind the card front and adhered them together. I reset the pink heart die cut into the recess of the heart cut out and adhered that as well. The sweet bow adorned hearts were placed with a heart 'bling' set in place. The sentiment was computer generated.
This card was so enjoyed by the ladies and I decided that it could become a firm favorite of mine. With all the lovely patterned card stock available, it won't be difficult to replicate to suit each occasion!
I've had a very busy few weeks that have taken their toll, leaving me really tired. What was so easy to deal with 10 years ago without side effects, now leaves me totally exhausted! Getting older is not for sissies......lol!! I have, sadly, neglected my blog, but hopefully, will be back up to speed soon. I'm reassessing my priorities!
Thanks so much for popping in and please say 'hello' as it is always great to hear from you all!

Oh, Moz, I can relate. Love stamping and creating but don't know if it's my posture or what. I get really tired too. I seem to stand up much way to much I'm afraid. Not sure about stamping on a slanted desk top like for drafting etc. any way thats why my "handle" is Lateblooming. beverly
