Father's Day Vintage Car Card

In class last week we  made this card for Father's Day.

Two different die sets were used on the card:
Sizzix 'All About A Boy' and Marianne Design  LR0197 - Vintage Cars.

We die cut the cars and used Wlanut Stain Distress Ink on the car whilst it was still in the die, to give it definition. Likewise with the Arrows on the front of the card.

The inside of the card had a flap that I laced the sentiment panels onto using eyelets and string.

The cars were matched to their 'other half' on the front, both in location and direction.

The picture on the right shows the flap down and the Father's Day greeting.

It was a fun card to make and I know some Dad's will be thrilled to receive it on their special day!

Thanks so much for the visit!

  2. Just too beautiful. As a wife (Mother) I would have to snatch the card and preserve it. Well done.
