Gooseberries & Aubergines

My pencil painting of the gooseberries is now completed. Not sure what I will do with this one, so will hang onto it for now.

On the go now, is a study of Aubergines. I am trying to work in specific colours so that I can learn the different shading combinations of purples. Very interesting, the colours one layers to achieve the end look.

Below is the start of the Aubergine study.

I will blog my progress, until finished, which needs to be soon as Linda's departure is not too far off!
Thanks for the visit!
