Paper Flowers

I was playing around with a few dear friends and we made paper flowers - the layered ones, spritzed with water and crumpled up and the opened and dried, and I just had to come home and play some more!!
I decided it was a waste not to use them, so made a quick card. Now, before you say anything, yes the stamping is crooked!!
I really must use the Stamp Positioner, but you know what it is, you are so sure you have it lined up, stamp, then 'poof!!' Crooked!! Oh well.....

This is a close up of the flower - looks like leather in this photo. Another skill, I need to address urgently!! Photography!!
Nevertheless, I love the flowers......................

  1. I know all about stamps not straight etc., but I really like your card Moz. Just the stip with the flowers added look so good. I have also been playing with flowers and so enjoy making them, but need to do cards for them to go onto.

  2. I found your blog on the scrappy quilt challeng, and thought i would contact you. I run an Australian online quilting group and so far have 38 members, half of which are Australians, with 5 Canadians, 2 New Zealanders and the rest from USA< I would dearly love some one from a new nation to join, so take a peek at my blog and see if you or any of your followers might be interested. Quilted hugs, Sue
